Test data shows that you can go as low at 1.25% by volume to achieve a localization strain of 0.25%, the minimum required by the 2024 AASHTO Guide Spec. The lowest application we know of was 1.5% by volume in the Gratiot Bridge over the Moak Drain in St. Clair County, Michigan, built in Dec 2023. Compare to a dosage of 3.25% by volume used in the Delaware Memorial Bridge. That is a savings of 54% in fiber cost.
